One recipe you should try is the Seven Layer Salad. It is very easy to prepare. All you need to have are seven envelopes of differently colored jellies, a can of evaporated milk, whipped cream topping, and four and a half cups of hot and cold water, respectively.

First coat a 9x13 dish with cooking spray. Next, dissolve a pack in three fourths cup of boiled water then add also three fourths cup of cold water. Spoon into the mold and refrigerate. Dissolve another pack in one half cup of boiling water. Once dissolved, add half cup of cold water. Place on top of first layer and repeat until all seven packages are utilized. Before serving, top with whipped cream.

Another dessert recipe is the Broken Glass. For this you will need one and a half cups of crumbled graham crackers, half a cup each of sugar and melted butter, and a package each of strawberry, lime, and orange flavored jelly. You will also need an envelope of unflavored gelatin, one fourth cup cold water, a cup of pineapple juice, and a carton of thawed frozen whipped topping.

In a bowl, soften the unflavored variety for about five minutes. Then, boil the pineapple juice and add the unflavored one until it dissolves. Transfer the cooked jelly to another bowl and set aside. Dissolve the lime flavored one until half a cup of boiling water, same with the remaining flavors. Put it into molds, chill until firm, then cut into cubes.

The next step is to cook the unflavored jelly in pineapple juice. Place the jelly in a huge bowl and set aside. Cook the other flavors by dissolving each package in one half cup of boiling water each. Once these have become firm, you can get to work by cutting them into cubes. Fold all the jellies in expertly whipped cream, then spoon onto the crust. Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for about two hours, then serve once it has set.
